Sarah, a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of experience in the pet industry, leads a team of five highly skilled groomers, each personally trained by Sarah herself to provide the highest level of care for each furry client.
Sarah has been a familiar face at A Royal Touch since 2012, and her passion for providing the best possible care for furry clients has been evident throughout her time there.
A Royal Touch is also Fear Free Certified, ensuring a stress-free and positive experience for every furry client.

Sarah
Owner / Lead Stylist
A lifelong animal lover, Sarah has been a fixture in the Calgary pet community since 2012.
Starting as a bather at A Royal Touch, her passion for pets quickly blossomed, leading her to become a groomer, then manager of the salon.
In 2024, she took the reins, becoming the proud owner of A Royal Touch.
Sarah’s commitment to excellence extends beyond her own skills, as she has personally trained every member of her team to provide the highest level of care for each furry client.
Outside the salon, Sarah’s love for animals extends to her three furry companions: Qui-Gon the poodle, Dutchess the mini poodle, and Arby the pitbull. She competes with Qui-Gon in weight pull competitions and enjoys hiking in the mountains.
When not training her furry friends, she can be found exploring new destinations on her travels. Sarah’s dedication to her craft and her genuine love for animals make her a true gem in the Calgary pet community.
Dawn
Grooming Specialist
Dawn’s passion for dogs led her to a career in dog grooming ten years ago.
Starting as a receptionist, she worked diligently to become a professional pet stylist, along with pet CPR and first aid.
She has cultivated a loyal customer base who appreciate the care and attention she provides to their beloved pets.
Robyn
Grooming Specialist
Since 2020, Robyn has been a valued member of the Royal Touch family.
Her passion for animals drives her to create a positive and enjoyable experience for every pet she grooms, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best.
As a proud owner of two corgis, she has earned a reputation as the “Corgi groomer of Calgary.”
When not in the salon, she enjoys pursuing her artistic interests and spending quality time with her beloved dogs.
Andrea
Assistant / Apprentice
Andrea is a proud Mexican from León, Guanajuato, and a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for the world of pet grooming.
With a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn, Andrea is eager to develop her skills in transforming pets into adorable works of art, particularly specializing in teddy bears and fluffy dog cuts. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her meticulous attention to detail, turning ordinary grooming into a true passion.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys creating clay figures, collecting Funko Pops and 90s toys, and immersing herself in suspense novels. She finds relaxation in listening to podcasts while working.
Andrea arrived in Canada three years ago, bringing her unique skills and infectious enthusiasm to the grooming community.
Rachel
Assistant / Apprentice
Rachael joined A Royal Touch in March 2023.
After learning the ropes while pregnant with her second child, she is now back from maternity leave and eager to pamper all the pups!
She decided to leave her acting past behind and now wants to channel her creativity into grooming dogs.
You can be sure that all pups get extra cuddles from this Mumma while on her table.
Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui-Gon is a force to be reckoned with!
This athletic poodle is a champion weight puller, proving that strength comes in all shapes and sizes.
When he’s not training for his next competition, Qui-Gon enjoys exploring the mountains with his human and two canine siblings.
He’s a loyal companion, always ready for an adventure.
Arby
Arby is a gentle giant with a heart of gold.
This loyal pitbull loves nothing more than spending time with his human and his two poodle siblings.
He’s a big softie with a playful spirit, always up for a good cuddle or a game of fetch.
